QUALIDADE NUTRICIONAL E ADEQUAÇÃO A LEGISLAÇÃO DAS CANTINAS E MEDIDAS HIGIÊNICO-SANITÁRIAS DAS ESCOLAS DE MIRANDÓPOLIS

Resumo

A pesquisa objetivou verificar o funcionamento das cantinas escolares do município e verificar se os alimentos e bebidas comercializados estão em conformidade com a legislação. A infância e a adolescência é um período caracterizado por diversas mudanças, o que o tornam um público vulnerável para o desenvolvimento de alterações negativas no padrão alimentar. Foram avaliadas as qualidades nutricionais dos alimentos ofertados, além das condições higiênico-sanitárias. Apesar da grande maioria dos estudantes das escolas públicas consumirem a merenda escolar, uma quantia próxima dos mesmos estudantes comprava algum item na cantina. O estudo demonstrou que a quantidade de lanches industrializados oferecidos nas cantinas é maior que a de alimentos in natura, onde são ofertados alimentos industrializados com alta densidade calórica e bebidas açucaradas.

The objective of the research was to verify the functioning of the school canteens in the municipality and to verify that the foods and drinks marketed are in compliance with the legislation. Childhood and adolescence is a period characterized by a number of changes, making it a vulnerable public for the development of negative changes in the dietary pattern. The nutritional qualities of the foods offered were evaluated, in addition to hygienic-sanitary conditions. Although the vast majority of public school students consume school lunches, a small amount of the same students bought some items from the canteen. The study showed that the amount of industrialized snacks offered in canteens is greater than that of in natura foods, where industrialized foods with high caloric density and sugary drinks are offered.
